Our village of Lagares has a very strong sense of community and it is never short of a friendly welcome home and a warm smile. There are plenty of facilities close by with a nursery and junior school a five minute walk away. The villages of Travanca do Mondego and Silveirinho are only a ten minute walk away (or a two minute drive) with shops, cafes and restaurants and the lovely town of Mortagua is a ten minute drive with supermarkets, banks, shopping, hospital, council offices, hardware suppliers and just about any other facility you would need.

Our house in portugal is a perfect property for a family or for use as a bed and breakfast business. The generous sized rooms throughout the house mean that there can be many people living or visiting the house and it never feels crowded. There are also many different outside areas to the property that you can retreat to for a bit of solitude and relaxation. The land and gardens are very well tended with lawn areas for children (and adults) to play, well cared for flower beds, ornamental trees and a huge variety of fruit trees including; olive, orange, lemon, pomegranate, peach, pear, quince, nectarine, cheery, mandarin, apple and clementine. We also have a large collection of grape vines perfect for making wine.
Coimbra
Central Portugal is a perfect location for those who love the outdoors and there is a property here to suit almost anyone and almost any budget. From ruined farmhouses, perfect for those wanting to get their teeth in to a renovation project, to city apartments and beach side villas.
Penacova
Property can be found throughout this part of the country best loved for its towering mountains, stunning rivers and abundance of forests and lush, green countryside where acres of vineyards and olive groves provide the perfect setting.

Central Portugal is a large, varied and mainly rural region of Portugal stretching from the Silver Coast in the west to the mountainous border of Spain in the east, with landscapes and lifestyles that contrast quite dramatically with those found in the Algarve.
